I rang to enquire about myself, sister, brother and the kids to spend a weekend at the campsite. We were hoping to get one more weekend in before the end of the season.I asked how much it would be and the the man on the end of the phone asked how many of us they was. I replied with the number, totalling at 3 caravans (please bear in mind that i just went up there to visit and there was just one caravan on the site).The man very aggressively replied "I'm not having that many caravans here" and hung up the phone.I am not sure how this site does any business or earns any money, instead of asking a few questions, he just happily turned me away and hung up the phone.I wish there was an option for zero or minus stars.
A gem of a campsite, in a gorgeous Kentish village with two pubs. Flat site with electric hookups if needed. Small well kept toilet block, washup area, plenty of water points No booking, but phone in advance to check availability on busy a weekend. 15 minute drive to lovely beaches and characterization towns like Broadstairs. Highly recommended.
Simple, but everything you need - constant hot water, fantastic location - near to everything & not too overpriced. Have had some good holidays here! Tip: pay up front if you prefer lay-ins & write a label to hang on front of your pitch to say when you've paid up to - as owner comes round collecting rents 1st thing every morning :-)
It's OK for a nights kip. Bit basic and toilets smell and dated.Walking distance to local pubs with nice food.
Stayed here on at least two occasions. Plenty of room to pitch tent, nothing too fancy but just what you need really. The oldish bloke who took our camping fee seemed friendly and helpful enough. Nice location in a quaint village with two good pubs. Saw a hedgehog on the way back from the pub lol!
